Course Summary
This interactive group programme is all about really connecting with your young crazy spaniel, so that they are keen to listen to you.
You will take your skillset and technique to the next level, which make it easy and fun to teach your dog how to be your happy trusted little pal, who can come with you anywhere, and share in all the adventures and fun. Fun, motivation and engagement are at the core of this and training together should be something you both look forward to.
You will learn new interactive games to do together, to fulfil and challenge your clever, busy, cheeky friend. You will understand your young spaniel better, which will take away the confusion and frustration and replace it with solutions.

This course will help you create an eager, focused spaniel, who comes back when called, walks nicely on a lead, switches off when asked and happily gives back the stolen socks :)

Hi, I'm Aleks!
I help people with crazy, lovable, sassy young spaniels to build a happy life together.
I support them in learning the skills they need to be able to bring their dog anywhere with them and have wonderful adventures together.
I help them decipher their adolescent spaniel, discover how to harness their talents and create a true partnership.
I am a co-founder of Scurry Dog, a dog sport inspired by spaniels and developed for all active pets who want to play gundog games without bangs, guns and birds.
I'm an accredited dog training instructor with IMDT (Institute of Modern Dog Trainers), a Mantrailing UK instructor and a UK College of Scent Dogs instructor.
I've got 11 years of intensive practical experience in training and behaviour modification, with thousands of happy clients and successful programmes.
My life is all about dogs, continuous learning and practice, every single day.
I live in the Welsh mountains with my 5 dogs, including a working Cocker, Springer Spaniel, a Labrador Retriever, a Collie mix and a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. We train and compete in several dog sports and training projects, including scent detection, competition obedience, working gundog tests and GRC/Canine Athletics. In winter, I'm part of a beating team on my local shoots with Raven, the cocker.
As a first time dog owner Alek’s ability to help me understand my puppy and how she learns has been so valuable. She manages to break seemingly impossible goals into small achievable steps which are also fun to do. I have done her Settle down course, and my puppy now hangs out much more contently whilst I work from home. Her enthusiasm is infectious and she clearly loves spaniels!
